Inked

Working in the motorcycle industry, I've certainly seen my fair share of tattoos, but until now I've managed to keep my skin ink-free. That's all about to change.

You've seen full-arm tattoos, or sleeves. Well, I've decided to get a pant leg. Yep, I'm going to cover my entire right leg with the final frame of Hieronymous Bosch's The Garden of Earthly Delights. Sure, it's dismal, but I usually wear jeans anyway.

ahhh...I remember studying that piece in my art class in college.

if i remember correctly, the left panel depicts the garden of Eden. the middle shows a utopian society, and the last panel illustrates Hell.

that class changed my life.

I believe you're right. I expect having my entire leg tattooed to suck badly, so I went with the hell panel.

I'm a big fan of Bosch. This was released around Halloween last year and I had hours of fun trying to name that horror flick. Enjoy!

tuth+gnail: Welcome! I just looked at that game for a brief second, and I can tell it's going to be fun. I'll need my wife's help with it, though.

B-I swear I dreamed last night that I got my leg tatooed. Just my leg. Not a full leg, but several big peices. Wow.

Seriously, zee? Can that possibly be a coincidence?

once again, we have eerie timing, B. While sitting in the hospital the past few weeks, I've realized that my two daughters names and my wife's name can form a circle when spelled out together. (KatrinAnnalieAnniKa) I'm thinking I have to get my first ink with this as a part of it.

Tilburg's Dutch BROWN ALE ?

Tilburg's Dutch Brown Ale is a top fermented Ale. The beer is brewed with top quality barley malt, fine selected hops and yeast according to an ancient old recipe. It's fruity character can best be descriped as "full bodied and superb and refreshing aftertaste".

Tilburg's Dutch Brown Ale is being produced in the brewery located in the small quiet village of Tilburg, near the Belgian border. The brewery is unique in it's kind, while it is situated inside the walls of the Abbey of Koningshoeven.

The famous Dutch painter: "Jeroen Bosch" lived nearby the brewery. The label is based on a detail from Jeroen Bosch's masterpiece "The Garden of Earthly Delights"

Center panel, center of the page, about 20% up. Is the one figure stuffing flowers up the other one's ass!? Utopian society indeed.
