Children of Men: On DVD

A while ago I posted about Children of Men, one of the most awe-inspiring movies I've seen in a long time. If you missed it in theaters, it'll be out on DVD on Tuesday. It's exceptional; I highly suggest renting it.

I remember reading the novel (by P.D. James) a number of years ago. And it really freaked me out. Not because of the plot though. The lead character in the book was brought up in Kings Road in Kingston (in West London). The very road I was actually living and reading the book in…

As for the film, I saw it last week, and I enjoyed it. I was going to suggest you checked out '28 days later', but I just read your original post.

Matt, did you notice, at the end while they were going through the "camp," that there was a one-camera shot that lasted for like six minutes?

I did actually (well okay I read about it in a review first). And I pointed it out to Rachel. She didn't seem as impressed as I was.
