Great clip I thought the movie was well done and as far as Confederacy of Dunces ...brilliant! I recently read, Managing Ignatious which was written by the manager of Luckey Dogs during the period of the book, he is also a historian who was a student of Stephen Ambrose and wrote a book (at Abrose's request) on the Higgens landing craft. Jerry Stahan is his name...A must read.

I'll have to check that out then, Josh. Check out this recording, supposedly the first time Bob Dylan was ever on TV. Sounds great.

That was a great Dylan clip. It probably killed him to play ball with "The Man" by being on that lame show, but he knew full well that the stuffed shirts at the TV studio would neither understand nor care about his message or the undercurrent that they were playing a hand in setting in motion.

Great take, Zee. For more killer live Dylan, be sure to check out the '60 documentary Don't Look Back, which I believe was recently released on DVD. There's some awesome music, plus some cool moments, like when a young Donovan finally meets his hero and gets to play "Catch the Sun for Him." There are also some moments that showed you what a jerk Dylan could be. He crucified this poor college reporter in one scene, I remember.

Sorry, that should have been "Catch the Sun" for him ...
