I felt like this every day when I was in school. I remember it like it was yesterday. Thankfully my job doesn't make me feel this way.

Lucky you. My job makes me feel like that every day. blecht. As a matter of fact, after I post this I'm going to run screaming out of the building.
Errr wait, maybe you were being sarcastic??
valyna: Nope, no sarcasm, thankfully. Eleven years in and I don't think I've ever been bored at work. But I sure the eff hated school. I don't even particularly like being in my daughter's school. So, how was your flight from your office?
Calvin is classic but you what the hands down funniest cartoon ever is?
Bloom County!!! I have a book with most of them in it, its so funny. The humor is 80's based but it still holds up well. Opus the penguin, Bill the cat etc etc.
Berkley Breathed is the authors name and I was sad to see him sell out to Starbucks last year. He says that it was for a good cause but still...
matthes: I liked Bloom County a lot as well, but nothing beats Calvin for me.
Hello, Sleek.
Yes, why do we get up in the morning, whether it's for school or work?
Deceptively profound, as is often the way with Calvin (and some of Peanuts, which I really like.)
Cheers, mate.
Soon, the bitter cold will hit and poor Calvin will be all bundled up...
I also felt the grips of scholastic hell and longed for the dog days of summer.
Fortunately, I don’t have the same apprehensions when visiting my kid’s school and rather enjoy feeling like a giant sitting in the tiny desks and pissing in the miniature urinals.
winters: Hello, mate. I also love early Peanuts, a clear influence on Bill Watterson.
josh: Imagine the sled-riding adventures he and his buddy will have.
clash: I'm going to try to look at it that way next time. I've signed up for reading duty in my shorty's class and will try to relish the experience.
I have to agree with Matthes- Bloom County is probably one of the greatest toons of my generation, followed by C&H, and then Mutts. I love Mutts.
