The DM and I are checking out a show called The Next Great American Band. I just heard a band called The Hatch do the worst cover I've ever heard. It was Dylan's "It's All Over Now, Baby Blue," and it was just horrible.
This show is insane.

I don't know, man. Have you ever seen Jr. Pezz and the Slick Nuts play locally. That is some pretty horendous shit.
getto: That's hilarious! I haven't seen them play, but I know what their deal is.
sleek: I'm totally not watching this shit.
Oh my god! The next guy just did a worse cover of "Blowin' in the Wind! What in the hell just happened!?
getto: They can't be as bad.
dm: Can't ... turn ... away ... help!
I don't rant a lot, but this show is just killing me. The cover of "Knockin' On Heaven's Door" may be the worst yet. This show offends me as a longtime Dylan fan.
These bands could never get on the stage of 123 Pleasant St. How are they playing on a primetime show on Fox? Don't worry, I know the answer....
Dot Dot Dot. Oh my god.
Missed it tonight, but watched last week and the talent pool was shallow. I was pulling for the thirteen-year-olds.
How did they do?
I feel your pain, but ss long as they don't cover "Don't think twice it's alright. I really don''t think i could suffer that. Genius.
Mornin'.
I wonder why you're not a fan of "dot dot dot," Sleek...
clash: They were bizarre.
raoul: Cliff Wagner and the Old #7 did cover that song, perhaps my favorite by Dylan. They're sort of a hard-edged bluegrass band. It wasn't too bad; at least the arrangement of the song was good.
winters: Hello, mate. I can't say that I don't like the band, as I haven't seen enough, but they massacred "Like a Rolling Stone." Did you see it?
No, I didn't, but I just checked out the Bobby Conn clip you have there, Sleek.
Great stuff. Cheers.
Ironically, THEM's version of that song is my favorite Dylan cover. A close second is Jason & the Scorchers' version of "Absolute Sweet Marie" (see my myspace page).
