The Black Metal Dialogues

this is a link to an email correspondence between...well, click on it and you can read it.

it's kind of a long read, but it is hilarious. I guess there were a series of church burnings, murders and other acts of evil that took place in the early '90's. they were all linked to people involved in creating music that falls under the genre of "black metal."

I won't have time to read through all of this until this weekend, but I look forward to it. Did you know black metal is actually illegal in places? Is Witch Taint Tim's alter ego?

This is one of the funniest things I've ever read! Some lines that made me spit coffee out my nose:

"do you have any allergies to taxidermy?"

"or it is like when wild animal does something before it kills something."

"For Fenriz: He has become an beer drinking humorist with an annoing laughter added to he´s jokes. I do not think you will hang with him. You will be dissapointed if you belive he is black. He is NOT!! But if you like beer and jokes, he is okay."

"speaking of which, i am doing a re-mix of some new tracks by torchlight. i find the torches help me get in touch with blackness even moreso. have you ever tried such a thing? you will never use track lighting again."

"even my mom, who is totally not into black metal at all, asked my dad the other day "where is the king of black metal?" and she was referring to ME."

Funny stuff, man. He may have let the joke go on a bit too long, but it's a hoot nonetheless.
