looking for some new books

hey everyone. was hoping for some suggestions of books that you thought were some of the better you have ever read. i typically go through a book about every 2 weeks. i will be finished with what i have in the next month of so.
bring it on!

i just finished bill o'reilly's new book. you can borrow it if you want. their better not be any skid marks on it when i get it back though.

I find it downright laughable that a man whose wife is days away from having a baby is asking for book suggestions. Seriously, that is some funny stuff right there.

That said, I'll humor you, pal. My second favorite book ever is Dickens' Great Expectations. Awesome from the first page, and it never eases up. If you haven't read this gem yet, I highly suggest it.

i do most of my reading in the OR, when they are drilling off the skull. keep it up, funny man, and it can be arranged ;)

have read GE. Dickens is classic.

I'm just starting Dostoevsky's The Idiot. The synapses and first few pages have been really good. That guy couldn't catch a break, man. Pain and suffering galore in his life, which of course means beautiful art oftentimes. You could always try this one along with me.

Have you read Bag of Bones? That's definitely worth a read.
