I've been saying something lately and I'm wondering if I picked it up somewhere else or if I just started doing it.
Business
I've basically been using the word business in place of stuff, like so:
(i.e. The DM makes an awesome stir-fry)
"That's some good business right there."
(i.e. I'm getting into my backpack)
"Man, there's all kind of business in here."
Am I just horking this from the kids?

That's one of the funniest things I've ever read. What about the NFL referee who once said, "He was giving him the business." Does that fall into the same category? i.e. "He was giving him the stuff?"
I will reserve judgement cause I don't think it is any of my business
This is definitely different than "giving someone the business," which specifically means giving them hell, and "minding my own business," as in "my personal affairs."
I'm talking about a word that is basically interchangeable with "stuff."
Congratulations Sleek! You've just started something and now it's documented.
I actually prefer your use of the word "Horking," ala Strange Brew.
Getto: As long as you don't try to "hork" Sleek's "business"...
I'm gonna hork his electric blanket!
geto boy: You can hork all the electric blankets in the world, for all I care. Mess with my heated mattress pad, however, and the hammer gets it.
Getto and Sleek: Them's some fightin' words!
Sleek: I like it and will help you bring this new lingo around if you want.
Ironically enough, I just got an invitation to the "New and Exciting Terminologies for 2008 Expo". Talk about timing!
There is also the "16th Annual Gem, Mineral and Fossil Show" this weekend.
Jessie: You should be a comedy writer. Seriously.
Sorry- meant your heated mattress pad. It's mine!
