I must disagree. I think that Bobby Conn is the queen of the world.
No no no, Josh is the queen of the world.
geto boy: My little dude wants to dress up as Bobby Conn for Halloween. He understands that "the man" is always trying to take stuff from him, and he doesn't have to give it to him. That's my boy.
mom: More white-trash bickering! I bet Josh never wore a swan dress!
Josh would never dump his publisher & cause the world to become overrun with vines & bugs & things. He smashes bugs with his face! (Errr. . . I mean, face shield.)
ing: So true, Ing. As we all know, Josh would instead go on a hard-core publicity campaign on behalf of the publisher.
Maybe the little man could go as Bobby Conn and we could go as the people dancing in the background. Flippin sweet!
I can't see the video here at work (*grrrrr) but will come back later on to watch it from home.
But yeah, Bjork is kick ass. She was amazing in the movie/musical Dancer in the Dark as well... in case you weren't aware of her acting abilites. She won best acress at Cannes that year for the role.
valyna: Do try to check that vid out, it's awesome. And Dancer in the Dark is a remarkable movie that put me through the effing ringer. (I understand it put her through the ringer, too, and she won't do another because of it.) We own the DVD but I haven't seen it in a couple of years probably. Must remedy that soon. Bjork went so far up in my esteem with that movie.
geto boy: That's the best idea you've ever had. Seriously. The DM has dibs on the chick in the short dress and tall boots.
Actually, I was hoping for he chick with blue dress and boots. However, I'll settle for a swan dress instead.
zee: Okay, you can have the girl in the dress and boots. Maybe the DM will be the host of the show. "And now we're going to have one of Chicago's hottest young stars doing a special version of his hit song on Trup ... Truck ... Truckstop Records. Please welcome Mr. Bobby Conn."
