A Brand New Hat

I'd like to send a huge 'thank you!' out to my blog friend Dalyn for making a new header for me. I think it's real bitchin' and will wear it proudly. Thanks, Dalyn!

Here's a video that most of you have probably seen, but just in case it squeaked by some of you ...

That's just one of the best things I've ever seen.

Dude, that actually brought tears to my eyes.

Wonder when they will make a movie about this.

We need more news like this on the air so the people will not let the media drive us into depression let alone recession.

This happened a little while back at a HS in my wife's own hometown of Rochester NY (she went to a neighboring HS). I came across it and forwarded it to her. she told me that everyone in Rochester knew this kid before this event, and he became in instant folk hero that night, and still is. heartwarming. Its too bad they didn't let him play before he was about to graduate...likes like the kid is instant offense off the bench.

rd: No kidding, pal.

$tastesbad: Me too, but, uh, I got some dust in my eyes just as he started nailing shots.

josh: This could drive a person out of depression.

clash: I don't know that I've ever seen an entire auditorium erupt to that extent.

melissavina: Any time. I hope your friend digs it.

zee: Man, you could tell when he was dishing balls to guys to shoot during practice that he had skills. Once he started nailing shots? Damn, that was just crazy.

I love that kid. I swear, when I watch that my heart totally fills up with love for him. Corny, I know, but he just rules.
