Intermission

I love my job, but sometimes it get particularly gnarly. Now is one of those times! Which is too bad, because I really want to talk about my visit to the crazy dentist. I will get to this post soon, though.

Oh, and I think I'm going to do a Christmas theme on Friday Music this week. The DM and I will most likely listen to them together on Sunday, so it seems appropriate.

Game on.

Crazy Dentist story:
I recently had my teeth cleaned. He used some sort of high pressure water pick and it was so freaking torturous I hurt my neck recoiling from the pain and had to go to the chiropractor after.
The chiropractor hurt so bad I had to go to an acupuncturist.
That was so painful I had to take a bunch of pills.
I got hooked, and had to go to rehab. By the time I got the pills flushed out of my system, it was time for another cleaning. Me? I got a new dentist!

Sleek, What is it with you and crazy dentists? One of my all-time favorite stories involving you was the dentist you went to in Mo'town in '92 or'93 that insisted---insisted--that everything from Aids ot cancer could be cured with colloidal silver.

Good Christ, mom!

zee: That's the story he's going to tell. Re: colloidal silver, I saw a man on the "Today" show this morning. He has permanently turned blue from using it for so long!

Doh! You gave away the punchline already, Zee! It'll be a good story anyway....

Damn. I'm sorry. I thought it was something recent. Honeslty....I recall a great more detail about this trip, with the Colloidal Silver thing basically being the icing on the cake. So, yeah, its a damn good story.
