Reversing the Numbness

Substitute Feature

I'd like to try something a little different this week. Anybody want to sub for me on Friday Music? It's easy; people will post some songs, preferably with links, and you'll just check them all out and say what you think (within a few days). I'm hoping at least one person will volunteer, and more is better. Anyone? Anyone? Anyone?

Zee is interested in curating an all Pink Floyd Friday.

I dunno, Sleek. I think everyone (including me) is too scared!

I'm picturing everyone trying not to make eye contact with you right now... :)

C'mon ... it's fun! Teoh will be down, won't he? Clash? Anyone?

I'm flying to Phoenix on Friday for the race, then right back on Sunday.

Won't have much time, but I will help out, bro.

clash: Man, you're just a freakin' peach, but I'll let you off the hook since you've got such a demanding travel schedule. It'll be dry this weekend. James may actually catch the track on fire.

Sounds interesting... but how will the "curating" process actually work? I'll be up for it if I can leave my comments on the songs here on your blog.

Teoh! You, my friend, are the man. It'll just work the same as always. I'll put up a Friday post, people will post suggestions (with links, hopefully!), and you just listen when you can and comment on everything here on RtN. My buddy Clash may chip in with some thoughts of his own, if his travels to Phoenix afford him a spare moment. This is cool, Teoh -- it gives you a chance to do something that just wouldn't fit into the format of your own blog. Thanks for being a sport!

If anyone else wants to help sub, there's no limit on slots!

Cool bananas. Are we just gonna leave it general, or can I suggest a theme? Like:
Favourite songs to exercise to; or
Best live acts; or
First records you ever bought; or
Favourite one-hit wonders; or...

However you want, Teoh. We could suggest a topic for those who don't have something in mind already if you want.

Great - I'll let you choose from the themes I've already mentioned, as well as these other ones:
Songs from the movies; or
Songs not to play at your wedding; or
Music that makes you think; or
Best driving tunes.

There you go!
