TGIM

It's a beautiful morning and the first day of 2007 that I've ridden my Triumph. My coffee was excellent. Tonight's the Joseph Arthur show in Pittsburgh, which I wouldn't miss for the world. Sure, I'm on a tight deadline, but this is still a great way to start off a week.

Happy Monday, everybody.

Love to hear you starting your week on such a righteous note. would love to be at that show for sure. hope you and the DM have a great time!

i got to catch Yonder Mountain String Band at the Fillmore after spending an hour and a half in the rain with my finger raised for a ticket which some kind soul sold me at face. In the words of Bill and Ted, it was MOST EXCELLENT.

raoul: Monday reared its ugly head before the stroke of 10 a.m., pal, but I'm still feeling good about the show!

looks like JA will be in SF on May 6. The day after Bright Eyes with Jim James. If you had one to go to you would go to...?

Mornin' Sleekpelt. The smell of good Parisian coffee is filling the air over here in this part of the world.

Palpitation-material. Hmmm...

Hope you enjoyed the show.

mom: You and Mr. Duke would get along famously. He has a CD book with perhaps a few hundred Widespread Panic shows in it, too.

winters: Please have a cup for me, mate. And the show was excellent, thanks, with a major bonus being the opening band, Stars of Track and Field. I enjoyed them as much as the main act, I believe.

The show was great, and I definitely enjoyed Stars of Track and Field as much as Joe and the Lonely Astronauts.

RD: That would be a very difficult choice to make!

Raoul: I've seen JA three times already, so I'd definitely go with the latter. Now, if it was a solo JA show, then I don't know....

Widespread Panic is a powerful group of men. I've only got to see them 4 times, once totaly outstanding! The other three wer just okay. But that one hooked me but good.

Mr. Duke, can we discuss a trade? Widespread for????

I was listening to SIRIUS yesterday and they had the Government Mule and Friends Christmas Show from Ashville NC, 05, May I reccomend....

ahh, Mom, you have come to the right man. The "jamband" scene is what I am all about.

I would be more than happy to send you a Soundboard show of Panic.
How about a heater from last year that is digital. Very crispy.

Also, if you would like to arrange some trades, my shows are on phishhook.com under WIDESPREADRU.

I worked security at a Widespread show in Chapel Hill some years back. I was the guy up front against the stage. That was a great show with tons of positive, mellow energy. I saw them again at a H.O.R.D.E. Fest not long after that- again an amazing show.

RD- Very tasty selection of shows. I have a Dave Matthews Band recording from their 6/3/1999 show at Post-Gazette in Pittsburgh if you are interested.
