I used ot love this video game. My good friend Krazy Joey was great at Zookeeper when we were kids. A few years ago, we were down the shore and he was playing an old, neglected Zookeeper machine in the corner of the arcade. At first, he appeared to have lost all of his mojo. His first two men were "killed" uncerimoniously. Then, in a flash, it all came back to him. As a Rhino and a lion closed in on him from both sides, he executed a back-flip over the rhino, and onto the net, which he then used to grab the lion. It was like 1985 again. We celebrated that night by getting drunk. Good times.
....were you referring to something else?
Cool, on the first track I really liked the percussion and the organ bits - for some reason it kind of reminded me of The Lovin' Spoonful's jugband music, mixed in with Travis! Pretty strong melodies too; glad to hear a strong melody isn't just the domain of twee pop these days. Would I listen to it again? Hmm... maybe.
Interesting Bio....I like the melodies, horns and quality musicianship. Hard to compare or label and maybe that’s why I dig it.
Zee should be reprimanded. i recommend a good, stern talking to.
Thanks for the feedback, guys. I get these new streaming albums to me at work all the time, and I'm always stoked when I end up liking one. (And Zee, I don't remember that game, somehow, but I wish I could have KJ's zen moment with it. Give him my best, please.)
