When it's 3:05 a.m. and you aren't the slightest bit tired, and your alarm is set for 6:30 a.m. -- you just know Tuesday is going to be a real hoot. I think I'll go set the coffee pot.
Well Bryan, atleast that's the good kind of insomnia. Stress insomnia sucks, but when you can't quit thinking about that really good idea...those are fun sometimes.
I actually plug my grinder in an outlet we have outside the house to prevent Sage from waking up. Me in my robe, wakin the neighbors ;) gotta have that Blue Mountain whole bean.
Well, I guess you didn't set the coffee pot...
ReplyDeleteOof, been there, done that. Well, at least you'll sleep better tonight, right?
ReplyDeleteInsomnia is really terrible.
i've had it as well for about a week... maybe something to do with the moon, tides... who knows! but im getting tired of it! *d
ReplyDeletedm: Doh! I did not. I was afraid the grinding noise would awaken the boy.
ReplyDeletedm: I hope so!
day: In my case, it's because I got a big idea yesterday and I couldn't stop thinking about still. Still having trouble refocusing my brain today.

ReplyDeleteYou and your harebrained schemes.
ReplyDeletewes: Good point. I'd rather be kept awake by possibility than by fear, regret, stress, etc.
ReplyDeletedm: As you know, when they keep me up at night, they usually work out!
I always grind on the back porch when the peeps are sleeping. FYI.

ReplyDeletegeto boy and rd: Thanks, you've blown my excuse for not making coffee the other day.
ReplyDeleteSleep is overrated. It's 12:05 AM and I am tearing the deck off of my house. Who needs sleep anyway?
