I just typed a long reply, detailing my longstanding love affair with squirrell, the short story I wrote about a squirrell and (former Chicago Bears Cornerback_) Vestee Jackson, and how I'd like to be bitten buy a radioactive squirrell.
Geez man, restecpa. I wonder if the radio-collared squirrels outside my lab would be capable of such a feat? We should so put up an obstacle course like this one on the lawn between the Plant Science and Animal Science buildings... I shall put it in my next budget proposal.
m@: Agreed, and I think the initial jump onto the windmill thing was the most remarkable of all.
josh: Zee has loved that toon since I've known him in college, and probably way before that. One of the most common ways RtN is found through search engines is from people Googling "cat fud."
They do sell critter food at the local stores here in Atlanta, but those little bandits love sunflower seeds and regular birdseed just fine. Squirrel food is just a fancy way of saying birdseed with cracked corn sprinkled about.
You have heard of birdwatchers, but I'm more of a bird-food-giver. One of my quirky hobbies that I have picked up through the years along with vegetable gardening.
Clever little devils.
ReplyDeleteI want a pet squirrel now.
ReplyDeletejosh: Indeed.
ReplyDeletemelissavina: If you build it they will come.

ReplyDeleteThen I signed in wrong and it was erased.
I think there is no doubt that if they were just a little stronger, squirrels could take over the world.
ReplyDeleteAmazing, I seriously doubt if I could figure that course out.
Only us Brits would spent so much time and energy building an elaborate toy for squirrels!

zee: If your comment would have been on par with your classic Funniest Thing in the World guest post, then I'll start mourning its loss right now.
ReplyDeletematthes: Agreed, and I couldn't do it either.
simon: If it were in the USA, why do I get the feeling there would be a hungry cat introduced into the game? Not on my assault course.
I gave up trying to keep them out of our bird feeders. I just put out enough food for them all.
ReplyDeleteAfter seeing that I’m glad I gave up when I did. I never stood a chance.
Remarkable!
ReplyDeleteThe Funniest Thing in the World, was real funny.

All the better to track them with. The Wildlife Management people are bizarre...
