It's Friday. Tonight the fam and I leave for a week at Nags Head. The
weather forecast is looking good, for the first week of April. I have four really good bottles of wine packed up already. I'll buy a pound of Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee down there. Thomas Hardy and
Jude the Obscure are coming with me. Quite stoked.
I'm now taking music suggestions to help set the scene.
How about "You Can Kiss My Ass (Our Vacation Isn't Until September)." Have fun guys. Hopefully we can get together after you guys get back.
ReplyDeleteThe Feeling has a single out called "Sewn" which is pretty cool. Don't really know much else about them.
ReplyDeleteThe Feeling is cool, spooge. Check out "Never Be Lonely" -- it's like Supertramp meets Travis. Also check out "Fill My Little World" for a full-on nod to ELO. This is fun Brit-pop, and I'll probably get this album. Thanks for the lead.
ReplyDeleteYanni rocks. My folks live in Beafort NC, almost on the outerbanks...I love this region, I spent every summer somewhere along the coast as I was growing, slowly evolving into a blogger. Oh John Tesh live at Red Rocks rocks...
